This week I have been reading Diary of a wimpy kid and, its really frustrating. A blizzard hits and it becomes too dangorus for Gregs dad to come home, so he stays in a hotel while Greg, Rodrick, Gregs mom, and Manny suffer at home. The power goes out and Manny is missing so Rodrick, Mom, and Greg. Greg gets up the next day to hear nocking on the door, and its Rowley. He is standing there with a plate of cookies asking for Greg to come outside and play, and then Greg got suspicious. He went to the circuit board and saw all of the switches off ecxept for the one in Mannys room. Thats where I left off.
The first character I would like to describe is Manny. This is my least favorite character, mostly because he can do anything he wants and won't get in trouble, but he's a tattle tale. If I had someone like that in my family (which I do), he would not be using me like he is Greg. The second character I want to describe is Greg. He is a little wuss (or wimp) who is so stupid at times it isn't even funny. He lets his little brother push him aside and his big brother mess with him 24/7 without doing anything about it.
The third character I want to describe is Rodrick. Rodrick is the hardcore teenager, hoping to hit gold in his band carrer instead of getting a practicle job. He gets in trouble very often and lives in the basement like a pig. The final character I would like to describe is Rowley. He is a big clumsy follower who will do just about anything that Greg tells him to do. At one point in the series he even agrees to play a game where he has the only chance of getting hurt and gets his arm broken.
Good blog. Well done explaining the characters. From what you wrote it seems like that one kid is a spoiled brat. Good blog.

ReplyDeleteI've read this book before it's pretty good. Isn't there a new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book that just came out? Anyway I liked how you described the characters. Very descriptive and it explains the characters perfectly while adding your own opinion. It all worked very well. I liked your blog.
